    The Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle is seeking a biomechanics researcher with LabVIEW programming skills to join a team of scientists and clinicians who are employing robotic technology to investigate knee biomechanics. Prior experience with biomechanics research including the use of cadavers, LabVIEW software development, instrumentation, data acquisition, and data analysis are required. This will initially be a one-year appointment. An undergraduate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or similar area is required and a master’s degree would be beneficial.
