Biomechanical laboratory in Kyung-Hee University, Korea invites applications for a postdoctoral position in the area of computational biomechanics. The postdoctoral researcher will be involved in a nationally funded project to develop computational models (finite element model and dynamic model) of the knee and Hip to investigate the biomechanical alternation of the joint due to various degenerative diseases including Osteoarthritis, Ligament and meniscus injury and so on. In addition, the research on the surgical outcomes of the TKA, Ligament reconstruction, or HTO will be performed using the computational model. Finally, the development of the surgical implant will also be considered with the manufacturing company.
The appointment can start immediately and will be available for two-three years. Salary will be commensurate based on the level of experience.
