Eurolens Research is a contact lens research and consultancy unit within the Faculty of Life Sciences at The University of Manchester. We are currently recruiting for a full-time Research Associate to work on a new project investigating the frictional characteristics of soft contact lenses.
The successful candidate should have (or expect to hold shortly) a PhD degree in a relevant field such as: biomechanics, engineering, biomaterials or optometry. The main duties are to manage and execute the project within the designated study timelines in addition to present research findings both internally and externally.
The position is tenable for one year in the first instance with the expectation of a further year's funding.
