    The Simulation, Engineering & Testing (SET) Division has a diverse team of talented professionals who contribute to a wide range of research and engineering projects including: biomechanics, solid and structural mechanics, computational fluid dynamics, laboratory and field testing, and advanced instrumentation development. We are looking for a biomechanical engineer to develop modeling of the musculoskeletal system for physical performance and injury assessment.     Engineer will develop modeling of the musculoskeletal system for physical performance and injury assessment.
    Experience Required:
    Expert knowledge of the biomechanics and physiology of the musculoskeletal system related to exercise.
    Knowledge of muscle fatigue and musculoskeletal injury mechanisms related to sports biomechanics and physical performance.
    Capability in mathematical modeling and optimization of biomechanical and physiological systems.
    Experience with kinetic and kinematic data collection and analysis.
    Excellent writing ability and oral presentation skills.
    Excellent teamwork and communication skills and the ability to carry out independent study.
    U.S Citizenship or permanent resident.

    Education Required:
    Ph.D. or M.S. with thesis in Bioengineering, Biomechanical or Mechanical Engineering, Exercise Sports Science or equivalent.
    Skills required:
    Able to perform independent work in developing physics-based biological system models.
    Desired: 3.7/4.0 or equivalent GPA in related courses is highly desirable.
