    New Zealand won 13 medals (six gold) at the 2012 London Olympic Games, across seven sports. In addition, we had top eight finishes in a further 24 events at the Olympics. New Zealand athletes also won 17 medals at the Paralympic Games.

    A number of Auckland based opportunities are available within HPSNZ, including a part-time lead role, which could be combined with another role to make a full time position. HPSNZ’s Performance and Technique Analysis team are passionate about providing best practice biomechanical support to targeted sports organisations.

    Performance & Technique Analysis Lead (part time)
    Leading a small but cutting edge team of technical experts based around New Zealand, you will be an established leader in your field, with an enviable success record with high performance programmes, athletes and coaches.

    Performance & Technique Analyst (Biomechanics)
    In this role you will deliver biomechanical support to New Zealand’s elite athletes and coaches, working with Kayak and other targeted sports. You will be qualified in biomechanics or a related field and have the ability to analyse a sport’s needs to develop, implement and evaluate athlete support.

    Performance & Technique Analyst (Sailing Analyst)
    Working with the NZ Sailing Team, this role will lead development, implementation and application of world-leading performance analysis and technology-based interventions. You will have experience and applicable qualifications in the collection, analysis and reporting of data in sport or related area.
