    WINNING ON THE WORLD STAGE

New Zealand won 13 medals (six gold) at the 2012 London Olympic Games, across seven sports. In addition, we had top eight finishes in a further 24 events at the Olympics. New Zealand athletes also won 17 medals at the Paralympic Games.

How does a country of just 4.4 million people do so well?

The key to this success is collaboration between our partners in high performance sport — all of us working together to ensure more New Zealanders are winning on the world stage. Our athletes are driven to succeed and at HPSNZ, we are dedicated to supporting them to perform to their full potential.

HPSNZ has an uncompromising culture of excellence and delivers world leading performance support to athletes and coaches. By delivering athlete-focused support, we enable athletes to maximise their potential and achieve at their pinnacle events.

If you are highly regarded in your field and driven by continuous improvement; if you want to work in a collegial and truly world-class sport system — you’ll be at home at HPSNZ.
