    The Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Exercise Science. Duties and Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in exercise physiology and related areas; academic advising; supervise senior projects; research; direct M.S. theses; and department and university service. Required Qualifications: Earned doctorate in kinesiology, exercise science, or a closely related field from an accredited institution (verified ABD considered; doctorate degree required by September 1, 2013); strong academic background in exercise science; potential for excellence in teaching; and high potential for establishing an externally-funded research program in exercise science. Date of Appointment: The University seeks to fill the position by Fall 2013. Consideration of completed applications will begin on October 30, 2012, and will continue until the position is filled.
