    Assistant Professor with a specialization in Motor Behavior
    Position: Assistant Professor, 9-month tenure-track appointment
    Starting Date: August 2013
    Responsibilities: Undergraduate and graduate teaching, advising and research supervision in motor behavior (including learning, control and development); maintaining an active line of research in motor behavior including collaborative and interdisciplinary projects; seeking external funding to support research and programs; and engaging in departmental, professional and university service activities.
    Qualifications: Earned doctorate in motor behavior or related area; demonstrated potential for nationally recognized scholarly research in motor behavior; interest and experience teaching in one or more of the motor behavior specializations; interest and experience in collaborative research; and potential for obtaining external funding.
    SALARY: Competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.

    General information: Founded in 1891, UNCG is one of the three original campuses comprising The University of North Carolina system (now 17 campuses). UNCG is classified as a research university with high research activity (Carnegie classification) and in the community engagement classification under Curricular Engagement and Outreach and Partnerships.
