The Department of Kinesiology at Boise State University is accepting applications for a graduate assistantship position in Motor Behavior & Biomechanics beginning in Fall 2013 semester. The position includes a 9-month stipend and a tuition waiver.
Students will have the opportunity to work with Laura Petranek, PhD and Eric Dugan, PhD and be involved in a variety of on-going research projects in the newly renovated Motor Behavior & Biomechanics Laboratory and the Center for Orthopaedic & Biomechanics Research (COBR). This research experience will provide the framework for their culminating thesis project.
Additional responsibilities will include teaching, supervising, and grading undergraduate laboratory sections of motor behavior and biomechanics courses.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, exercise science, physical education, engineering, science, or related field
- Accepted in to the MSESS program in the Biophysical or Behavioral area of emphasis
- Undergraduate coursework in the areas of motor development/ motor learning and biomechanics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Research interests in the areas of motor behavior and/or biomechanics
