The Department of Biomedical Engineering of the University of Virginia invites applications for a tenure-eligible or tenured faculty position. The position entails a secondary appointment in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and requires musculoskeletal tissue engineering research experience, with emphasis on cellular genetics, biochemistry, biomechanics, and/or biomaterials. The candidate will join our exciting research environment, maintain an energetic and well-funded research program, and engage in teaching and training of graduate and undergraduate students.
