Job description
A new customer prefers to kick-start usage of their CAREN system and prefers to have a skilled employee of Motek Medical on-site for the initial 6 months. As CAREN system operator, you’ll be running the CAREN system and be the point of contact for therapists and clinicians to optimize the usage of the product for the clinical care they provide.
After the first 6 months on-site with the customer, you will, as a member of the service and support team, take care of our customers in North America. Training, preventive maintenance, tailor-made solutions, in-house testing and customer support is core business of the Service and Support Department. Next to that, you’ll assist our North American sales agent by providing technical sales support.
Prior to working on-site for 6 months at the customer’s site, you will receive an extensive training of at least 2 months at our headquarters in Amsterdam.
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled person with a background both in clinical care as well as engineering (electrical engineering, installation and maintenance, robotics, simulators and hydraulics) and strong affinity with software development.
This job requires regular traveling, mainly within the US and Canada, but possibly also to Europe and Asia.

Requirements
You have a Masters degree in engineering, movement science, biomechanics or physical therapy and preferably 3 or more years of clinical experience. Both as CAREN system operator as well as support engineer and technical sales, good communication skills are essential. Fluent English (writing and speaking) is mandatory. Eye for detail, enthusiasm and being able to work both independently as well as in a team is essential.
Renumeration in accordance with experience and education between $85,000 and $115,000.
