The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas USA is seeking outstanding students for our PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences program with an opportunity for financial support as a Teaching Assistant beginning in the Fall 2013 semester. The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences is administered through the School of Allied Health Sciences and offers clinical programs in physical therapy, athletic training and occupational therapy, as well as the PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences program. The PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences program offers educational and research emphases in clinical anatomy, clinical biomechanics, clinical musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and clinical neuromuscular and postural control. Competitive applicants will have a strong grade point average, outstanding GRE scores, clinical background or strong clinical interest, and a desire to pursue scholarship/teaching in rehabilitation sciences as a career goal. Applicants interested in both full-time and part-time study are encouraged to apply.
