  • Graduate Studentship in Rehabilitation Science – Fall 2013

The Department of Exercise and Nutritional Sciences at San Diego State University (SDSU) would like to invite applications for our masters level program in Kinesiology with specialization in Rehabilitation Science. This program, housed in the College of Health and Human Services, is a unique combination of biomechanical, motor control and athletic training principles. The main emphasis of the program is to prepare professionals for research careers that involve data acquisition/analysis for the assessment and evaluation of motor performance in clinical and sport/exercise-related environments. This degree is ideal for individuals seeking to pursue doctorate degrees in physical therapy and/or other rehabilitation specialties.

Founded in 1897, SDSU boasts a student population of ~31,000 with degrees in over 150 areas. Since 2000, SDSU faculty and staff have attracted more than $1.5 billion in grants and contracts for research and programs ranging from cardiovascular disease to marine biology. SDSU ranks No. 20 in the nation for racial diversity and among the top universities for economic diversity. SDSU is located in San Diego County, CA, which has consistently been ranked in the top 10 places to live in North America.
