We currently have a PhD scholarship opportunity for a suitably qualified and motivated candidate.
Project: Footwear and orthotics to change gait and improve lower limb blood circulation.
Summary: A 3 year programme of research will be undertaken to research and innovate footwear and orthotics that can alter calf muscle activity in cases of intermittent claudication and poor venous return.

Closing date for applications is March 1st. Suitable applicants will be shortlisted and interviewed on March 22nd. The funding covers PhD fees for UK/EU students and provides living expenses for 3 years at nationally agreed rates.
The intention is for the PhD programme to start on either April 1st or July 1st 2013.
