The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis at the University of Miami is recruiting a research associate to explore research questions that relate to skeletal muscle weakness, fatigue, reinnervation and activity after human and experimental spinal cord injury.
Motivated candidates with an undergraduate or graduate degree in neuromuscular physiology, engineering, computer science or physical therapy are encouraged to apply. Requirements include strong experimental skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Applicants with a strong publication record and prior research experience in neuromuscular physiology are highly desirable.
