BIOMECHANICS RESEARCH ASSISTANT (Duke University: K-Lab)
The Michael W. Krzyzewski Human Performance Lab (K-Lab) at Duke University Medicinal Center is seeking a research assistant to help with various research projects. The position entails conducting research and testing related to various lower extremity clinical studies in joint replacements and ACL injuries as well as injury prevention studies within the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Duke University Medical Center. Applicants with a B.S. or M.S. in mechanical engineering, bioengineering, biomechanics, exercise science, or a related field are preferred. Experience in three-dimensional motion capture, EMG and plantar pressure data collection are a plus. We are seeking candidates with a strong scientific background and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preference will be given to individuals who have conducted functional testing research in athlete and patient populations. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
