  • Assistant professor of clinical physical therapy-anatomy

    The University of Southern California invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Clinical Physical Therapy in the Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy, to begin September 1, 2013. We seek candidates who have an earned doctorate in Physical Therapy, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related fields, with an emphasis in human anatomy.
    The successful candidate should have prior anatomy teaching and lab coordination experience—including dissection and prosection skills. Primary responsibilities will include teaching human musculoskeletal- neuro-, visceral-, and analytical-anatomy within the division’s Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program, and managing the division’s human anatomy laboratory (including preparation of tissues and organs for demonstration). Additional teaching experience in movement science, biomechanics, and/or rehabilitation science will be advantageous. As a faculty member, a successful candidate will also be expected to pursue scholarly interests, and participate in professional and university service.
