A Post-doc Position is open at the research unit Biomechanics and Bioengineering (UMR CNRS 7338) (www.utc.fr/bmbi) at the University of Technology of Compiègne.
The project concerns hand biomechanics, and in particular hand musculoskeletal modeling. To achieve this aim, a numerical musculoskeletal model based on the geometry obtained by medical imaging processing and hand motion capture will be computed. This model will take into account the specificity of various types of anthropometry. This Post-doc-project is an interdisciplinary project. This project includes biomechanical structure modeling with an identification and optimization procedure.
Qualifications:
- background in mechanics and biomechanics
- Ability to collect and analyze experimental data
- Experience with Motion Capture and analysis (Vicon system)
- Experience with software for computational mechanics (MSC.ADAMS)
- Experience with software for musculoskeletal modeling
- Excellent oral / written communication in English ( French will be an advantage)
