Applications for the International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) and the Curtin Strategic International Research Scholarships (CSIRS) have opened and the School of Physiotherapy at Curtin University is actively seeking suitable, highly qualified applicants into its MSc and PhD programs.
Research areas/projects include:
• Musculoskeletal injury management, rehabilitation and prevention in physically demanding occupation
• Sports injury rehabilitation, specifically landing and collision injuries
• Clinical management and rehabilitation of neck and back pain
The School of Physiotherapy is located on the Bentley campus of Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia. The School has an extensive range of biomechanical testing equipment housed in its purpose-built motion analysis laboratory including a 14 camera motion capture system, multiple in-ground and portable force-plates, isokinetic dynamometer, wireless and clinical EMG etc. New, state-of –the-art exercise physiology, motor control and strength and conditioning laboratories are situated adjacent to this lab.
