POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE FOR BIOMECHANICS AND HUMAN MOVEMENT ANALYSIS

Nebraska Athletics is introducing the “Nebraska Athletics Performance Laboratory” (NAPL) in the new east stadium addition to Memorial Stadium at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln (http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.d...CLID=207732860). NAPL will leverage Nebraska Athletics’ established reputation as a national leader in strength and conditioning training and in helping student athletes enhance their sports performance. The NAPL is seeking applications from dynamic, team oriented individuals for the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate for Biomechanics.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership in development, grant-writing, execution, and dissemination of clinically relevant research conducted under the auspices of the Nebraska Athletic Performance Laboratory (NAPL) in accordance with the mission and policies established for the NAPL. This includes fostering productive collegial relations within and external to NAPL, and generating productive and scientifically-sound research and development activities that address issues relevant to student athletes and coaches with a special emphasis on biomechanics and human movement analysis.
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in biomechanics, biokinesiology, or related field
Experience with research involving human subjects
Experience with generating manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals
Preferred Qualifications:
Skill at writing proposals for Institutional Review Boards
