A fully funded Research Assistant position is immediately available for PhD students interested in research on robotic devices for rehabilitation of hand and arm function after stroke. Students will work on a NIH-funded project within the Center for Applied Biomechanics and Rehabilitation Research (CABRR). CABRR is a joint center between the Biomedical Engineering Department at Catholic University and MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital. Students will join a vibrant and diverse team of clinicians, engineers and research scientists, all focused on rehabilitation of movement disorders following neurological injury. Qualified candidates will have an undergraduate degree in a relevant field of engineering and a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
