The Biomedical Engineering Consortium across Griffith University, the University of Western Australia, and the University of Auckland has recently been awarded a large grant to examine the risk of developing knee osteoarthritis using computational biomechanics and computational biology. Subsequently we have a post-doctoral position available to estimate knee joint contact forces using EMG-informed neuromuscular skeletal modelling.
The person appointed will need to work in cross disciplinary team environment and be willing to travel between institutions. The position will attract excellent salary packages and each of the Universities reserves the right to appoint by invitation and to not fill the positions.
