Job Description
Responsibilities: provide clinical and on-field oversight and learning opportunities; track supplies, timesheets, leave, etc.; oversee operations at multiple sites on Post; provide additional sports medicine coverage as required; interact with military and medical personnel; assist Program Supervisor in tracking injuries and program information.
Early morning hours required (4 am report time at Ft. Benning), Monday – Saturday work week. Some evenings and weekends required.

Requirements: Mature, highly dependable individual able to work independently and as a part of a team required. US Residents Only. Master’s degree, minimum of 3 years practical experience, BOC certified, and ability to be licensed in GA required. Additional requirements: minimum 2 years working in a military setting; experience with Army medical procedures, structure and software; and ability to obtain a military security clearance. Supervisory experience desired, teaching experience a plus. Outstanding communication skills, ability to work with a diverse group of individuals, ability to function in a very structured environment and follow strict rules and protocols required. Reports to Program Supervisor.

Full Time Internship

Project expansion. Fully funded 1 year internships are available starting immediately. We have an exciting new opportunity with the Warrior Research Center as a part of the Warrior Athletic Training Program to provide sports medicine and physical conditioning services to Soldiers in multiple units at Fort Benning, GA. Applications are currently being accepted until all positions are filled. Positions start in August and October 2013. These 12 month positions will involve working in a high pace environment with a population varying from individuals in Basic Combat Training to Airborne and Ranger School, Armor, and officer leadership courses. This is an opportunity to work in the military setting and build clinical, leadership, mentorship, and administrative skills as well as help oversee athletic training facilities. Will include early mornings and/or afternoon and evening hours. Competitive pay and an unique experience working with the armed forces.

Qualifications required:
Must be BOC certified; able to be licensed in Georgia, preferably with 1-2 years of experience. CSCS certification a high priority. Ability to obtain CSCS certification important. Those without CSCS will be paid at a lower rate. Must be a self-motivated professional, flexible, team-player who is eager to build a new program and adjust to changes and improvements.
