The expanding Department of Physical Therapy in the Bouvé College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University invites applications from highly motivated candidates for a full-time, tenure-track faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to begin August 2014. The position will have the general responsibilities of tenured and tenure-track faculty in the department. These responsibilities include developing and leading an independent and externally grant funded research program; participation in collaborative research with others in the department, college, university, and other research partners; teaching in current and planned degree programs; and college/university service. The department is looking to expand its tenure/tenure track faculty with research topics relating to neurorehabilitation and neurologic physical therapy.
Candidates must have a PhD degree in Physical Therapy or a closely related field such as neurorehabilitation and/or neurologic sciences and an active track record of scholarly activity including publications with a successful research program. Candidates that are eligible for physical therapy licensure in Massachusetts are preferred. History of extramural funding will be looked upon favorably.
