The SNRC offers a post-doctoral fellow an opportunity to further develop their scientific and professional skills in the area of clinical biomechanics. Injuries of interest include patellofemoral pain syndrome, stress fractures, iliotibial band syndrome, plantar fasciitis, knee osteoarthritis and lower extremity amputations. Ongoing SNRC studies involve the applications of gait analysis, gait retraining, biplanar videography and transmagnetic stimulation. Depending upon their unique backgrounds, fellows will have the opportunity to collaborate with a wide variety of other entities, such as the Institute for Lifestyle Medicine, the Wyss Center, Center for Integration of Medicine and Innovative Technology and the Boston Marathon.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in biomechanics or related field with experience in motion analysis and proficiency in computer programming. Excellent verbal and written communication in English is required. The position is available as of January 2014 and extends until October, 2015 with the possibility of extension.
