    Responsibilities

    As a Product Validation Analyst within our Sports Research Team, you will assist in the development of footwear and licensed apparel and accessories through performance validation of prototype and commercialized products in an effort to bring provably superior products to market. You will perform a variety of tests (including fit, mechanical, perception and wear), assist in biomechanical, physiological, and material science research, and use results and findings to provide recommendations to design, development, and marketing on future iterations of product. In this role, you will also participate in product ideation sessions and concept reviews. You will act as the end-user and product quality advocate during product concept evaluations employing knowledge gained from performance validation of relevant products. You will be responsible for delivering prototype products and parts to internal groups, archiving wear-tested products, and supporting pre-line preparation and distribution.

    Qualifications
    • BS in Biomechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, MS in Kinesiology or an advanced degree in a related field. 1-3 years of experience preferred. Lab experience a must.
    • Experience with data interpretation, statistics, and creation of succinct, actionable recommendations.
    • Preferable computer skills include: Matlab, Labview, Visual 3D, R, etc.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal team members and product testers.
    • Time management skills and the ability to work independently on many projects at once.
    • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
    • Some travel required – approximately 10 percent.
