The Anatomy Lab @ Kulak, University of Leuven, Belgium has opportunities for highly qualified and highly motivated doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers to work on topics in the area of musculoskeletal modelling and simulation of the upper limb. The position is fully funded for 1 year and extendable for up to 4 years via a personal scholarship/fellowship.
Applicants should be EU citizens and have a masters level degree or PhD in (bio)mechanical or biomedical engineering, excellent knowledge of English and preferably some experience in musculoskeletal modeling and dynamics, software engineering (Matlab, Python, C/C++) and/or motion analysis and biomechanics.
Successful applicants will join a stimulating and multidisciplinary research group with interaction with anatomists, orthopaedic surgeons, physical anthropologists and biomechanists.
