    UCSF/SFSU PROGRAM IN PHYSICAL THERAPY

    Faculty Position – Exercise Physiologist

    The University of California at San Francisco Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science is requesting applications for an Assistant Professor faculty position, to work out of the UCSF Physical Therapy Health and Wellness Center on the Mission Bay campus in collaborative cross-disciplinary research. Candidates must have an earned doctorate (PhD or DSc) in exercise physiology or related fields. History of scholarly publications and successful extramural funding is required. Experience working with human subjects in metabolic testing methods such as VO2max testing, resting metabolic rate, lactate and ventilation threshold testing, progressive resistance exercise program implementation, and cardiovascular stress testing is highly recommended. License to practice physical therapy in California (or eligibility for) is beneficial but not required.
