The Division of Occupational Therapy at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks to fill a 12-month tenure-track faculty position, rank commensurate with experience. The faculty member will have primary duties devoted to development of his/her independent, extramurally funded research program and scholarly activity. Additional responsibilities will include teaching in the MSOT (ACOTE accredited) educational program and Health and Rehabilitation Science Doctoral program. The candidate will have opportunity to work with an expanding junior and senior faculty core at the Center for Rehabilitation Research in Neurological Conditions. This is an emerging center which supports collaborative rehabilitation science and health services research, provides mentoring opportunities for junior faculty, and offers research infrastructure. The successful candidate must possess an earned PhD or its equivalent. Post-doctoral (or similar) training is preferable. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant clinical experience, those eligible for OT licensure in South Carolina, a history of extramural funding, and an established line of scientific investigation in an area related to rehabilitation science or health services research.
