Salary: £19,802 - £20,972 (with progression to £22,927)
You will be responsible for providing technical support to the Human Movement Science Research Team for projects based in the Movement Science Laboratory under the direction of Professor Lynn Rochester. The team is multidisciplinary comprised of clinicians, biomechanists, bioengineers and movement scientists. You will support research projects and assist with processing of gait laboratory data.
A minimum HNC/HND in relevant subject is required and preferably educated to degree level. You will need to have had relevant experience in a gait and human movement laboratory; with data processing/analysis and technical computing (Matlab); and data management/analysis using Microsoft Excel. Experience with the following is also desirable: 3D motion analysis, accelerometers, Electromyography, SPSS statistical software.
You will be experienced in all aspects of Microsoft Windows applications and able to concentrate on routine tasks whilst maintaining attention to detail. You must also be meticulous about following processes and procedures and able to organise workload and paperwork accordingly.
