I invite you to consider applying for the open Department Head position in my home department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering here at Montana State University? If you're not interested, would you recommend someone who is?
We're beginning the search now, and we'll start reviewing applications on July 15--the department houses 3 undergraduate programs (Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, and Industrial Engineering) and numerous graduate programs.
MSU is a Carnegie 1 Research Institution with a land grant mission, and I think you'd really help us to move our department forward. Bozeman consistently ranks as one of the top places to live in the US.
