    Responsibilities

    As a Sports Research Analyst II, you will be responsible for data related to both basic and applied research as well as product design and validation. You will be charged with subject recruitment. You will lead biomechanical, physiological, and material science data collections utilizing motion capture, high speed video, in-shoe pressure, and many other methods. You will analyze data and create clear and concise summaries of research findings for internal and external audiences. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally to provide recommendations on future iterations of products based on your testing results. You will focus on helping to apply analytical data to the design and engineering of performance-based products. You will assist in developing the infrastructure—processes, software programs, protocols and procedures—required for sports research and product performance validation. As an integral member of the team, you will contribute to brainstorming and product ideation sessions. You will be required to perform lab tours and accurately and enthusiastically fulfill media responsibilities.

    Qualifications

    • MS degree in biomechanics or kinesiology or biomedical or mechanical engineering. 1-3 years of related experience required.
    • Experience with independent data interpretation, statistics, and summarizing results.
    • Exposure to publishing in academic journals and conferences preferred.
    • Computer skills, including: Matlab, Labview, Visual 3D, R.
    • Strong analytical skills essential.
    • Time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
    • Some travel may be required.
