The Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University (Georgia Tech, Atlanta Campus) is seeking an outstanding candidate to fill the position of Postdoctoral Fellow in the Cardiovascular Fluid Mechanics Laboratory (CFM Lab). This position is available immediately.
The required qualifications are: Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline (including Applied Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering), demonstrated experience in modeling and numerical simulation using Lattice Boltzman Method based solvers (applications to cardiovascular flow are a plus but not required), programming expertise, excellent collaborative and communication skills, strong proficiency in English. Expertise in, or at least the appreciation for, experimental fluid mechanics is preferred.
