Position Overview: Are you passionate for sports, technology, biomechanics, or medicine? Motus is for you! We are rapidly expanding our corporate offices and biomechanics labs in New York and Florida. This position is tailored for entry-level graduates and professionals who have the capability to learn in a fast paced environment. Individuals will work closely with professional sports teams and partners of Motus in MLB, NBA, NFL, NCAA, FIFA, and Olympic Track and Field. Opportunities for advancement are integral to our company’s growth.
Major Duties:
-Undergo training for 3D motion capture test protocols, sport specific applications, and Motus’ proprietary software.
-Operate a Motion Analysis Corporation optical motion capture system in both indoor and outdoor settings.
Requirements:
-BA/BS in Biomechanics, Engineering, Computer Science, Exercise Science, or related technology field.
-Previous experience with motion capture equipment (desired).
-Experience with matlab, statistics, animation, biomechanics, anatomy & physiology, kinesiology, strength & conditioning, web development, database management, statistical analysis, or computer programming (optional)
