Position Overview: Are you passionate for sports, technology, biomechanics, or medicine? Are you currently finishing an advanced degree in engineering or science? Motus is for you! We are rapidly expanding our corporate offices and biomechanics labs in New York and Florida. This position is tailored for entry-level graduates and professionals who have the capability to learn in a fast paced environment. Individuals will work closely with professional sports teams and partners of Motus in MLB, NBA, NFL, NCAA, FIFA, and Olympic Track and Field. Opportunities for advancement are integral to our company’s growth.
Major Duties:
-Work closely with our research partners, research staff, board members, and engineering staff to implement cutting edge research in injury prevention and performance enhancement.
-Assist in generation of performance and injury forecasting models for various sports and movement applications.
-Conduct progress towards thesis/dissertation for up to a three(3) year period with Motus.
Requirements:
-BA/BS/MS in Biomechanics, Engineering, Computer Science, Exercise Science, or related technology field.
-Experience with motion capture, matlab, statistics, animation, biomechanics, anatomy & physiology, kinesiology, strength & conditioning, web development, database management, statistical analysis, or computer programming (required)
