Position:
Xsens is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to sell Xsens’ human motion measurement solutions for biomechanics research, sports science, rehabilitation and ergonomics. You have a proven track record in selling to the human motion analysis market. Your customers will typically be universities, research institutes and large companies. You sell directly to customers in North-America and manage our distributor network in South-America. You work closely with our local product specialist and international team overseas. You are reporting directly to the global segment Sales Manager in The Netherlands.

As Senior Business Development Manager, you are responsible for sales to Xsens’ existing and new customers. You work together with a dedicated, enthusiastic team of specialists. Your responsibilities include:
- Follow up on leads generated by Xsens’ online and offline marketing efforts
- Contribute to lead generation by attending exhibitions/conferences
- Identify new opportunities and take actions to capitalize on these
- Manage and close opportunities in an efficient manner
- Present and demonstrate Xsens’ products
- Manage and train distributor network in South-America
- Develop sales plan for target markets
- Report to Sales Manager
Profile:
- MS degree in Science or Engineering (preferred: Biomedical/Biomechanical)
- > 5 years of sales experience in human motion analysis market
- Experience with sales processes for universities, research institutes and B2B
- Result oriented, highly motivated team player who is able to work independently
- Self-starting, independent, takes initiative
- Creative and problem solving
- Outstanding skills in oral and written communication
- Ensuring full customer satisfaction, networker
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%)
