This scholarship aims to bring a researcher with a PhD title to assume an association with the PTPG in order to:
I – promote the achievement of high-level studies;
II – to strengthen national research groups;
III – bring new personnel to the boards in the Graduate Programs and research institutions;
IV – to promote the inclusion of Brazilian and foreign researchers in postdoctoral stage, encouraging its integration with research projects developed by the Graduate Programs in the country.
The three modalities for this scholarship are:

C | Brazilians or foreigners living in Brazil and employed as teachers in Universities or researchers in public research institutions. | Yes, since the candidate gets his activities on hold and does not maintain any professional link with the same University providing the scholarship. | Up to 12 months. |
The candidate should be aware that in any of the 3 modalities he/she must give full time dedication to the program.
This scholarship comprises two benefits: a monthly stipend of R$ 4,100.00 (approximately USD1.790,00) and costing funds for research related activities as participation in conferences.
Potential candidates should ideally have good scientific production and no institutional affiliation (eg, early graduated), whether they are Brazilian or foreign, as well as more experienced and already employed PhD’s, who want to compromise an affiliation for a predetermined period of time.
