Non-Tenure-Track Lecturer position

The Human and Evolutionary Biology section within the Department of Biological Sciences, in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, seeks applications for part-time or full-time non-tenure-track teaching faculty positions for the 2014-15 academic year. The primary scientific mission of Human & Evolutionary Biology section is the elucidation of the structure and function of the human organism within the context of development, environment, pathology and evolution.

We seek a scholar who has experience teaching courses in the following areas: Physiology, Exercise Physiology and Nutrition.

Initial appointments are fixed-term, with the possibility of renewal contingent on need, performance and review by the department faculty, its chair, section head, and the Dornsife deans. Dornsife provides opportunities for promotion based on demonstrated teaching excellence and service to the program, school, and university.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in a relevant field, e.g. Physiology, Biology, Kinesiology, and Nutrition with demonstrated teaching excellence in the subject area.
