The Fischell Department of Bioengineering at the University of Maryland invites applications for a Lecturer position starting in August 2014. The Lecturer will serve as primary instructor of undergraduate bioengineering courses, including laboratory courses. The Lecturer will also be responsible for advising undergraduate students and will be expected to contribute in departmental service. A Ph.D. in bioengineering / biomedical engineering or closely related field is required. A record of outstanding teaching is also required, and teaching experience beyond the graduate teaching assistant level is preferred.
