The Organisation
 Snow Sports New Zealand is the national sport organisation representing the interests of adaptive snow sports, alpine ski racing, cross country skiing, freeskiing and snowboarding.
 Our mission is to lead and support the success of competitive snow sports in New Zealand.
 The intent of the High Performance Programme is to keep New Zealand’s snow sports athletes winning on the world stage.

The Role
 A full-on and varied performance analysis role for two key stakeholders (Snow Sports NZ and High Performance Sport NZ). In conjunction with others, the Performance Analyst is responsible for identifying performance analysis systems, techniques and delivery to the high performance programme.
 The successful candidate will want and need to be able to commit to a PhD programme researching the performance analysis needs within the elite snow sports environment.
 Keys to success for this role will be the support offered to the coaches in performance analysis, technology and result tracking, along with the ability to deliver effective competition and preparation support in the build-up and during pinnacle events between now and 2018.
 Based in Wanaka for at least five months of the year, the role can be flexible but will also require commitment and flexibility from you to put in the hours, especially in the lead up to competitions.

 You enjoy being part of a small but close knit team;
 You are passionate about research and innovation and want to build on your master’s qualification in fast-paced dynamic sports;
 You’ll also need to be tech savvy –an EXCEL Jedi.
