The postdoctoral fellow will provide administrative and research support to the Center for Pediatric Locomotion Sciences at Georgia State University in Atlanta. The Center combines faculty from multiple universities focused on improving mobility in children with movement disorders. In addition, the fellow will be partially funded by a research grant focused on biomechanical outcomes of prosthetic knee prescription in very young children with limb loss. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in biomechanics, biomedical engineering, or related discipline along with experience with motion analysis instrumentation, including kinematics, force platforms, and EMG. Experience with Vicon Nexus and Polygon programs and Matlab programming is preferred. This position is for one year, with a possible renewal for a second year, and is available immediately.
