Research Assistant (0.5FTE),Department of Life Sciences, University of Roehamton, London, UK
Salary:£25,429pa pro rata inclusive of London Weighting Allowance
We are looking for a part-time, 2.5 days/week, research assistant to join our Department of Life Sciences for 12 months from 1st October 2014. The Research Assistant will provide assistance with a research project investigating the early detection of acute vertebral fractures by a novel, non-invasive screening technique. The project is funded by a research grant awarded by Sir Halley Stewart Trust and it is expected that you will work on two different sites (University of Roehampton and St George’s University of London) during the project.
If you are interested in the project and have a Master’s degree or PhD in biomechanics, biomedical engineering, or mechanical engineering and previous experience on dissection and in-vitro mechanical testing of human tissue in a laboratory environment we would like to hear from you.
