Exercise Physiology & Muscle Mechanics Tenure-Track Position. Search # 6.14
Assistant Professor. Minimum Qualifications: Earned doctoral degree in a sub-discipline of Kinesiology related to resistance-exercise training, muscular strength development, and muscle mechanics in special populations, e.g., children, the elderly, individuals with disabilities, injured athletes. Teaching experience with on-line courses (e.g., hyflex, hybrid, etc.) is desirable. The candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in exercise physiology and muscular strength development. Secondary teaching expertise is expected in rehabilitation, or anatomical kinesiology and biomechanics. Demonstrate excellence in teaching, program advising and scholarship and evidence of the ability to establish and sustain an independent line of research and secure external funding. Interest and ability to extend expertise into the community is also desirable.
