Post-doctoral researcher position to pursue specialized research training and experience in the study of neuromuscular control and motion analysis in the Sports Medicine Center under the guidance of a scientific mentor; performs applied research in the area of biomechanics of considerable scope and complexity, in which existing theory or methods may be limited or lacking; designs, executes and conducts advanced lab experiments; collects, analyzes and interprets research results; compiles research results for publication in reports, papers, journals, books and other media; collaborates with Principal Investigator to develop, write and submit grant applications to obtain funding in support of research being conducted; develops and writes manuscripts for publication in scientific journals; develops, adopts and implements new laboratory methods in the study of biomechanics; participates in the training of graduate students and junior laboratory staff.
