The Sensorimotor Development Lab (SDLab) is seeking highly motivated students with a background in motor behavior, biomechanics, behavioral science or developmental psychology. The focus of the SDLab is in the area of motor development throughout the lifespan, specifically in the context of how infants and young children learn to interact with the surrounding environment. We use a combination of both quantitative (3D kinematics using motion capture cameras and IMUs ) and qualitative techniques (video coding) to answer these questions.
