We are searching for an enthusiastic candidate who will undertake a funded PhD position in Biomechanics/Motor Control. This position is funded by the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences (IHS) PhD program at the University of Texas at El Paso.
This position will mainly work on projects related to falls prevention in seniors and individuals with neurological deficits within the Stanley E. Fulton Biomechanics and Motor Behavior Laboratory. This laboratory is equipped with a motion capture system, force plates, EMG system, and eye tracking. The laboratory also has the advantage of being closely linked to the Physical Therapy Department at the University of El Paso.
