We’re seeking a Biostatistician to work with physicians to decide what data is needed to answer specific questions or problems. Will analyze and interpret data presented by physicians. Will present findings from analyses and discuss the data’s limitation to insure accurate conclusions from being drawn. Performs data visualization and statistical analysis to support preparation of publications. Hours are project-based and can vary monthly.
Requires 1-3 years of extensive, proven successful experience performing statistical analysis in healthcare. Problem-solving skills, analytical skills, creativity, effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills; strong interpersonal skills required along with solid word processing, intermediate spreadsheet, database software applications and statistical analysis software skills. Must have a BA/BS in statistics, mathematics or related degree, MA/MS in statistics, or Health care education preferred.
