This two year postdoctoral position is a joint collaboration between the Center for Gait and Motion Analysis at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare and the University of Minnesota Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Approximately 50% of the position duties will involve conducting a long-term outcomes study (Distal Femoral Extension Osteotomy and Patellar Advancement for Treatment of Crouch Gait) as part of a multi-disciplinary study team. Duties will include study design, recruitment, collecting/processing/analyzing 3D gait data, writing and presenting results.
The other 50% of the position will involve conceiving of and conducting relevant human movement research. The topic is flexible, and will be decided upon jointly by the candidate and the supervising team.

- an interest in clinical research and gait analysis
- ability to collect and process gait data (or capacity to learn)
- a history of peer reviewed publications
