We are looking for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to perform research on the nanoscale mechanical properties of bone measured by nano-dynamic mechanical analysis (nano-DMA). The research will be carried out at the Mechanics of Biological and Bioinspired Materials Research Unit within the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at University of Liege (Belgium). The candidate will have the opportunity to work with a state of the art nanoindenter (equipped with a fluorescence microscope) and to interact with clinical partners. The ideal candidate should possess a good knowledge of nanoindentation as well as of finite element analysis.
