The Interdisciplinary Health Science/Rehabilitation Sciences program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas is seeking PhD students. We aim to develop new cadres of researchers and educators for the next generation of healthcare professionals. Within the program, we have expertise in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, biomechanics, imaging, neuroscience, healthcare policy, and wound care.
Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will work with an assigned faculty mentor on research projects and provide instruction within graduate and undergraduate courses (20 hours/week). Assistantship includes a competitive monthly stipend and tuition waiver.
Potential applicants with a background in rehabilitation sciences (physical therapy, occupational therapy, athletic training, speech therapy, kinesiology, biomedical engineering, or other related areas) are strongly encouraged to apply.
