The School of Physiotherapy and Exercise Science at Curtin University is calling for International students wishing to study a PhD in the field of trunk and lower limb biomechanics and injury prevention during adolescence.
The Motion Analysis Laboratory within the school is widely used by both physiotherapy and exercise science staff and students, contributing to the large range of research projects from sports and performance enhancement to highly clinical-based studies. The Motion Analysis Laboratory at Curtin University is equipped with an 18-camera Vicon system, four in-built AMTI force platforms, wireless EMG technology and Visual 3D modelling software. The University also has a dedicated strength and conditioning laboratory with an isokinetic dynamometer
Supervisors: Dr Catherine Wild and Dr Kevin Netto
Eligibility: Students must meet English Language proficiency (IELTS 7.0); must not be enrolled in a research degree at Curtin University; and must not be the recipient of any other scholarship.
Award: $25,392 pa (indexed annually) for three years and a full international fee waiver.
